This was our 5th trip with Discovery of India We were very fortunate to avail such a wonderful opportunity of visiting Arunachal Pradesh where nature is so generous to have created a dream land It is rightly told that a thing of beauty is a joy for everOur trip got more enjoyable when Kaziranga was subsequently added to the itinerary by DOI The Cultural Shows at Tawang and Kaziranga were truly mesmerizing and eye openers to understand the culture and heritage of the natives of Arunachal and Assam Lastly the trip ended with the darshan of Maa Kamakhya before departing for the Gauhati Airport In a nutshell It was quite a memorable and enjoyable trip Credits go to the DOI team and especially Prodeep Dada for their untiring efforts to make the trip a grand successLastly we would like to thank everyone in the group for their cooperation and team spirit I would say it was a wonderful teamLooking forward to meeting you in the near futureThanks regardsSahadev Champati family

We had a nice Arunachal Pradesh tour and enjoyed every moment of it just like a family This was not my first tour with Discovery and hope to have many moreFrom Tawang we went to Bumla pass by Inova six persons in each Bur our vechile fell to reach Bumla pass by few kilometres due to breakdown But thanks to Mr Pradeep Das who on his own immediately arranged vechile and pass for next day for those six personsWe started very early next day and did not miss anything in next day plan This shows how much he cares for us In our plan there was no Kaziranga But Mr Das took all the efforts to re route and added Kaziranga with same time frame without sacrificing anything in original plan The added cost was quite negligible This shows there dedication for the tourHoping to travel with Discovery very soon again
It is learnt that you specialise for conducting tours for Senior Citizens Considering that we booked the trip but due to the POOR trasport arrangement we and Gautam sarkar family were deprived off the enjoyment with the group We were compelled to hire a seprate vehicle since the van arranged for such a high altitude roads travel was neither sufficient to accommodate the group nor the luggage of the group members It is suggested that in future proper vehicle should be arranged
We reached home exhausted but fully rejuvenated after an intimate sojourn with Nature in its fullest form as manifested in 4 Kenyan National Parks of Amboseli Naivasha Nakuru and Maasai Mara The itinerary made by Mr Prodeep Das and his backend Team members was optimal and fully loaded The execution of the entire script was commendable with Prodeepbabu in the forefront taking tough and hicost decisions onthespot when factors beyond his control created an impasse for all of usbe it the roadblockage from Nakuru to Maasai Mara challenging DoI with highcost impact for taking the extra 175 kms detour through Naivasha or be it rescheduling our NairobiMumbai flight when our original flight was delayed by more than 2 hrs leaving all of us without any hope to catch our respective connecting flights that too without passing any cost incidence to the group of accompanying travellers Only a seasoned TravelGuru can take such onthespot but risky decisions for we drove directly into the Airport and could only make it with the skin of our teeth We also observed him taking such decisions during our Europe Trip with Discovery of India in May this yearOur special mention goes for the pilots of our 4 LandCrusierswho made it a point to make us see all the rare and wild animals in their wildest havens from the closest possible distance Their speed and accuracy in spotting and reaching the wild animals were unbelievable Overall an unforgettable spell of time which was gifted to us in Kenya by Discovery of India We will recommend all natureloverswho have not visited Kenya yet to wait for the coming years tripwith DoIRegardsSanghamitra Mohapatra and M S D Bhattamishra
