No place better represents Russia than Red Square. The square’s name has nothing to do with communism or with the color of many of its buildings. In fact it is derived from the word ‘krasnyi’, which once meant ‘beautiful’, and has only come to mean ‘red’ in contemporary Russian. Later we visit the famous WWII Stalin’s Bunker- the Emergency command post of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Red Army during 1941-1945. In the evening we see the spectacular Circus which will leave you awestrucka This evening, the coach will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the world famous Russian Circus followed by dinner in the hotel itself. Stay overnight in Moscow.
DAY 3 : MOSCOW TO SAINT PETERSBURG

It’s the Underground Kingdom of Moscow Metropolitan, with admirable mosaics and marble. The coach will transfer you to the Central Station to board our Hi-Speed Train…Sapsan for a memorable journey through the countryside of Russia. Upon arrival you will be transferred to our designated hotel for check in. Have dinner in the hotel itself. Stay overnight in Saint Petersburg.
DAY 4 : SAINT PETERSBURG CITY TOUR
After having breakfast, proceed to explore the historic hub of Russia, Leningrad…now Saint Petersburg, formerly the capital of Russia. We’ll see all major attractions of this heritage city through an orientation tour of Nevsky Prospekt and many more tourist attractions with an experienced Local Guide in English language. Nevsky Avenue or Nevsky Prospekt is the main street in the city of St. Petersburg. The main sights include the Rastrelliesque Stroganov Palace, the huge neoclassical Kazan Cathedral, the Art Nouveau Bookhouse, half a dozen 18th-century churches, a monument of Catherine the Great, an enormous 18th-century shopping mall, the Anichkov Bridge with its horse statues and so on. We’ll then take you to St Isaac’s Cathedral: St. Isaac’s Cathedral was originally the city’s main church and the largest cathedral in Russia. It was built between 1818 and 1858, by the French-born architect Auguste Montferrand, to be one of the most impressive landmarks of the Russian Imperial capital. One hundred and eighty years later the gilded dome of St. Isaac’s still dominates the skyline of St. Petersburg. After that transfer to explore – The Winter Palace which is now called the Hermitage Museum. One of the largest museums in the world, The Hermitage is also the largest Art Museum in the world. The main architectural ensemble of the Hermitage situated in the centre of St Petersburg consists of the Winter Palace, the former state residence of the Russian emperors. It has the buildings of the Small, Old (Great) and New Hermitages, the Hermitage Theatre and the Auxiliary House. After spending a couple of hours, we’ll proceed to visit another landmark of Leningrad, the Peter & Paul Fortress. Lacking the fame and tourist appeal of the Hermitage, the Peter and Paul Fortress is certainly no less of a St. Petersburg landmark. The first structure to be built in St. Petersburg, and thus the birthplace of the city, it never served its intended defensive function. Instead it has had a rich, hugely varied, and sometimes sinister history as a military base, a home of government departments, the burial ground of the Russian Imperial family, the site of groundbreaking scientific experiments, and a forbidding jail that held some of Russia’s most prominent political prisoners. Later transfer to shopping area, followed by return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5 : SAINT PETERSBURG TO FINLAND & ENJOY YOUR GIGANTIC SHIP OF VIKING CRUISE
This morning we have an early start and proceed to Helsinki by the High Speed Train – Allegro, between Russia & Finland. Breakfast will be packed. Welcome to Finland, the first country of our Scandinavia tour program. Upon arrival in Helsinki, after a mere 3 hrs 30 min comfortable journey, we begin with a city tour of the Finnish Capital, Helsinki. Our local English speaking Guide will first give you the taste of Helsinki with some exclusive photo stops. Helsinki is so compact & beautiful that it’s ideal to explore the city on foot. We’ll also cover some places of the sightseeing of this important city of design, architecture & galleries on foot. The Senate Square and its surroundings form a unique and cohesive example of Neo Classical architecture. The square is dominated by four buildings designed by Carl Ludvig Engel between 1822 and 1852. We’ll now visit The Cathedral of Helsinki which is a must and is perhaps the most photographed area & recognizable building in Finland. It’s an Evangelical Lutheran Cathedral and the seat of the Diocese of Helsinki. It used to be known as St Nicholas’ Church till the independence in 1917. Next, we visit the Sibelius Monument at the Sibelius Park, which is the world famous composer Jean Sibelius'(1865-1957) monument by Eila Hiltunen. It was unveiled on 7.9.1967.
