Bergen is also the most western city in Norway. After reaching Bergen we will go up Mount Floien by the famous Funicular Train. The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known attractions. Fløibanen can be found in the heart of Bergen, 150 m from Fisketorget – the fish market – and Bryggen wharf, and it takes just 10 minutes to walk to the lower station from where the cruise ships dock along Bryggen. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes 5–8 minutes. The journey is an experience in itself, and at the top you can enjoy fantastic views over Bergen. We’ll descend after enjoying the majestic sights of 360 degree Bergen. We then take a stop for leisure time of your own to view the colourful shore area. You’ll be transferred back to Norheimsund, the town on Hardangerfjord for dinner. Stay the second night in this beautiful fjord village of Norway.

The Flam Railways Train of 1862 AD has a lot to offer as it’s one of the world’s most exciting and spectacular railway lines and throughout the 20 km long ride, you will be amazed to see the panoramic view…waterfalls cascading down the steep, snow-capped mountains, rivers cutting through deep ravines and mountain farms clinging to sheer slopes. The Scandinavian Flåm Railway is surrounded by steep mountainsides, roaring waterfalls and deep valleys. The journey is one of the world’s steepest railway lines and provides some of Norway’s wildest and most magnificent scenery. Surrounded by mountains up to 1400 metres high, the Flåm Railway starts its journey up to the mountains. There is no other place on earth where rail travellers have the chance to see such an impressive waterfall as from the platform at Kjosfossen. High up on the horizon you see the white water cascading off the steep mountain side. The rushing river of water dissolves into foam with a thunderous roar as it hits the mountain on its way down. The journey continues through snow-shelter tunnels. An opening in the landscape affords a last glimpse of the Flåm Valley before you arrive at the final stop on the Flåm Railway – Myrdal station. Our coach will be parked at Myrdal station to transfer us to Geilo, another serene scenic place in Norway. The park is open to visitors all year round. The unique sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland’s lifework with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron. Vigeland was also in charge of the design and architectural layout of the park. The Vigeland Park was mainly completed between 1939 and 1949. Most of the sculptures are placed in five units along an 850 meter long axis: The Main gate, the Bridge with the Children’s playground, the Fountain, the Monolith plateau and the Wheel of Life. We’ll have an orientation tour with sights such as the Royal Palace, Holmenkollen Ski-Jump and the Oslo Harbor.
