DAYWISE ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL YANGON MINGALABAR, WELCOME TO MYANMAR
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your local guide at Yangon International Airport and transferred to your hotel for check in. Dinner and overnight Yangon hotel.
DAY 02: YANGON CITY TOUR, OVERNIGHT YANGON
Post breakfast start your Yangon city sightseeing tour walking at the lively morning market, colonial style downtown Yangon has to offer historic sites such as the High Court Building and the Telegraph Office on Pansodan Street and Sule Pagoda, Yangon City Hall. Visit to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, featuring a huge reclining Buddha image. Next, drive along Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake and on the east side take a brief stop to take some great photos across the lake towards the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Proceed to Bogyoke Aung San Market which is formerly known as the Scott Market (closed on Mondays and public holidays). Then enjoy the sunset at unforgettable Shwedagon Pagoda, world famous as the heart of Myanmar Buddhism. It was constructed more than 2600 years ago. Dinner at local Restaurant. Transfer back to hotel and overnight at Yangon.
DAY 03: YANGON – MANDALAY – OVERNIGHT MANDALAY
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport and take flight to Mandalay. From the airport, drive about an hour to the ancient capital of Amarapura. Visit U Bein Bridge, 160 years old and the longest teak wood bridge in the world, Mahagandayon Buddhist Monastery to see the daily life of the monks. Since Amarapura is famous for its textiles, there is some time to visit a silk hand weaving home business. Continue your tour to Mahamuni (a great Buddha Image), visit gold leaf making workplace to see how to make gold leaf by hand in a traditional way. In the afternoon visit Shwenandaw Kyaung (the Golden Teak Monastery, completely built of teak) and Kuthodaw Paya (the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the teachings of Buddha). Enjoy the panoramic view and sunset from Mandalay Hill. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay
DAY 04: MANDALAY – MINGUN – AVA – OVERNIGHT IN MANDALAY
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave from hotel by tour bus to jetty then start visiting to Mingun, by boat (approx. 1hr). Sightseeing includes Mingun Pahtodawgyi Pagoda which is an unfinished huge pagoda that was supposed to be 150 m high, Mingun Bell which has about 90 tons in weight and is the world’s biggest ringing bell, Myatheindan Pagoda – the most beautiful archaeological style. Return to Mandalay side. Then Drive to Ava, a small ancient lovely city. Take ferry boat just 10 mins. First stop for lunch, but no Indian food is available in this small city. After lunch take horse cart and visit Bagaya Monastrey, Mae Nu Oak Kyaung (beautiful brick monastery), Nanmyint tower which is one of the surviving buildings left from the olden days. Then back to Mandalay. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
DAY 05: MANDALAY – BAGAN – OVERNIGHT IN BAGAN
Early morning check out and transfer to jetty for your local boat trip to Bagan. Coffee and snack provide on board. Lunch on board and enjoy the scenery of mighty Irrawaddy River, local traders and sailing on the way and villages along the river bank. Arrive to Bagan late afternoon and check in hotel. Evening sunset at the view point and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Bagan
DAY 06: IN BAGAN- OVERNIGHT IN BAGAN
Today post breakfast proceed to visit Bagan the ancient city in central Myanmar, which is known as the archaeological treasure house of Myanmar. Upon arrival to Bagan, we will visit the colourful morning vegetable market in Nyaung Oo, Shwezigone Pagoda, a gold gilded graceful pagoda, Htilominlo Temple, majestic three-story temple with an amazing architecture style and the wall interior decorated with beautiful intricate wall painting of Myanmar arts and Jataka, meaning Buddha’s previous lives. Ananda Paya, the most beautiful temple, well known as a masterpiece of Mon architecture and housing 9.5 m standing Buddha images in each corner, Damanyangiy Temple, the biggest and most massive temple, remaining as an unfinished temple, famous as the best-preserved temple of Bagan. After lunch, check-in at your hotel and have some rest. In the afternoon, visit one of the temples to enjoy sunset. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
DAY 7: BAGAN – INLE – OVERNIGHT IN INLE LAKE HOTEL
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the Airport for domestic flight to Heho (Inle Lake). Arrival at Heho airport. Drive to Nyaung Shwe, set on the shore of the Lake. On the way, have a short break for lunch. Upon arrival at jetty, board your small motor boat and proceed to Inle Lake which is famous for its unique Leg-rowers and scenic beauty. Tour highlights include Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, wonderful floating gardens, natives’ method of fishing, traditional Silk & Lotus weaving industry and village life on the lake. On the way to hotel, enjoy the beautiful sunset on boat. The scenery of the beautiful sunset on the shoulder of hazy blue mountain range behind the lake will make you feel as in paradise. Dinner at Hotel. (Indian food may not be available) Overnight at your Hotel in Inle Lake.
DAY 8: INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON – KOLKATA
After early breakfast, transfer to Heho airport for your domestic flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon have packet lunch at airport. Check in Yangon International airport for your return flight to India. Arrive Kolkata in the evening (Tour End)

PAYMENT TERMS:
Rs.28000/- for booking confirmation and USD portion to be paid before 30 days of date of departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Minimum cancellation charges Visa fees, Air ticket cancellation + Rs.5000/- PP
  • 45 - 30 days before date of group departure = 25% of the Tour Cost.
  • 30 – 15 days before date of group departure = 50% of the Tour Cost.
  • 15 - 07 days before date of group departure = 75% of the Tour Cost.
  • Below 07 days of date of group departure = 100% of the Tour Cost.
