ITINERARY

DAY 01: 17MAR – DEPARTURE KOLKATA TO SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA
Welcome to Kolkata Airport. Today your dreamt journey will start to the Land of Sun Rising and South Korea with your trusted Travel partner Discovery of India.
Airport Report : You need to report Kolkata Airport at Departure Gate No.3C latest by evening 09.00pm with you original Travel Documents.
A snacks packet with one bottle water to be served at airport.
Check in airport and proceed to immigration and security process to board on the designated flight for Seoul.
DAY 02: 18MAR – WELCOME TO KOREA – “LAND OF MORNING CALM”
Welcome to Seoul. On arrival at the Incheon International Airport, you will be transferred to Indian restaurant for your lunch. Post lunch check in Seoul hotel. After some rest late afternoon proceed to visit the N Seoul Tower, you will enjoy a night panoramic view from the top observatory deck. Dinner and overnight Seoul.
The N Seoul Tower, officially the YTN Seoul Tower and commonly known as the Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower, is a communication and observation tower located on Namsan Mountain in central Seoul, South Korea. At 236 metres, it marks the second highest point in Seoul. (L, D)
DAY 03: 19MAR – SEOUL – DMZ – DORA OBSERVATORY
After Breakfast today, proceed for your tour of Demilitarized Zone, one of the most heavily armed boarder in the World. The zone has been protected from human disturbance for about 6 decades. At DMZ we visit the Dora railway station, Dora point observatory from where you can see North korea (weather permitting) and 3rd infiltration tunnel. IMPORTANT: It is mandatory to carry original passport for Visit to DMZ. Enjoy Lunch at Restaurant. Later visit Gangnam Street and Samsung D’light the samsung world head quarters. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight Seoul (B, Light lunch & Dinner)
DAY 04: 20MAR – SEOUL CITY TOUR
After breakfast, proceed for city tour of Seoul – pass by Gwanghwmun Plaza , Cheonggyechun stream & Dongdaemun Design Plaza and pass by Joggye temple and the Blue House. Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace built in 14th century where you can see the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony (subject to available) and the National folk Museum where you can take a glimpse in the past and learn how the culture and trade of Koreans used to be. Bukchon Hanok Village a cultural village where you get to experience and see the old korean houses of which some are commercial outlets now and few have residents still residing there. Proceed for lunch. After lunch visit Amethyst factory and have a free time for shopping. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Overnight Seoul. (B,L,D)
DAY 05: 21MAR – SEOUL TO BUSAN
Today after breakfast proceed to the South Korea’s second city, seaside Busan offers ancient temples, lively nightlife, and a unique coastal culture all its own . 5 hrs. enjoying Korean Provincial scenic view through your window. On the way light lunch. Upon arrival check in hotel. Take some rest. Afternoon proceed to see the Gukje & Fishery market where you can see local usual life style. Dinner and Overnight in Busan (B, Light lunch & Dinner)
DAY 06: 22MAR – BUSAN SIGHTSEEING
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea honors UN soldiers from 16 countries that were killed in battle during the Korean War from 1950-1953 Haeundae Beach is probably the most famous beach in the country. "Haeundae" was so named by scholar Choi Chi Wonof the Silla Kingdom (57 BC - AD 935). Go through Diamond Bridge, pass by BEXCO , Stop by Dalmaji Hill Haeundae Beach APEC House on Nurimaru and The Bay 101, Dinner overnight Busan (B, L, D)
DAY 07: 23MAR – BUSAN – OSAKA, JAPAN
Today early morning check out hotel with packet breakfast and you will be transferred to Busan International Airport to board on Osaka bound flight. Check in our Airport fly to Osaka.
Pick up from Kansai Airport then proceed to Indian Restaurant for lunch, Post lunch proceed to Osaka City
OSAKA TOUR:
UMEDA AREA: Umeda, is one of Osaka's two main city centers. It is Osaka's busiest transportation hub and a bustling business district. It offers an abundance of shopping, dining, lodging and entertainment, including several department stores and an expansive network of underground shopping malls.
UMEDA SKY BUILDING ( FLOATING GARDEN OBSERVATORY): The Umeda Sky Building is a spectacular high rise building in the Kita district of Osaka, near Osaka and Umeda Stations. It is also known as
OSAKA CASTLE: The construction of Osaka Castle started in 1583 on the former site of the Ishiyama Honganji Temple, which had been destroyed by Oda Nobunaga thirteen years earlier. (B,L,D)
DAY 08: 24MAR – KYOTO AND ARASHIYAMA TOUR
Morning after breakfast transfer from Osaka to Arashiyama
ARASHIYAMA TOUR:
SAGANO BAMBOO GROVE: Enjoy a relaxing walk through the Sagano Bamboo Grove
TOGETSU–KYO BRIDGE: Togetsu-kyo Bridge is a famous 250-meter-long bridge in Arashiyama, and offers a spectacular location for viewing cherry blossoms or colored autumn leaves.
KYOTO TOUR:
KINKAKU-JI TEMPLE: Kinkakuji is formally known as Rokuonji, the temple was the retirement villa of the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, and according to his will it became a Zen temple of the Rinzai sect after his death in 1408.
KYOTO IMPERIAL PALACE: The Kyoto Imperial Palace used to be the residence of Japan's Imperial Family until 1868, when the emperor and capital were moved from Kyoto to Tokyo. It is located in the spacious Kyoto Imperial Park, an attractive park in the center of the city that also encompasses the Sento Imperial Palaceand a few other.
FUSHIMI INARI SHRINE: Fushimi Inari Shrine is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. (B, Light lunch, D)
DAY 09: 25MAR – OSAKA AND NARA TOUR
Today post breakfast at hotel you will be transferred from Osaka to Nara
NARA PARK: Nara Park is the location of many of Nara's main attractions including Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, Kofukuji and the Nara National Museum.
TODAIJI TEMPLE: Todaiji is one of Japan's most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara.
OSAKA CITY TOUR:
SHITENNOJI TEMPLE: one of Japan's oldest temples and the first ever to be built by the state. In the pebble covered courtyard of the inner precinct stand a five-storied pagoda that can be entered and ascended and the Main Hall (Kondo) in which Prince Shotoku is enshrined as a statue of Kannon. A short walk away, the Gokuraku-jodo.
SHINSEKAI: Shinsekai is Osaka's "new world," a district that was developed before the war and then neglected in the decades afterwards. At the district's center stands Tsutenkaku Tower, the nostalgia evoking symbol of Shinsekai.
DOTONBORI: A popular shopping and entertainment district and is also known as a food destination. At night it is lit by hundreds of neon lights and mechanized signs. Dinner overnight Osaka. (B,L,D)
DAY 10: 26 MAR – OSAKA – HIROSHIMA TOUR
Today after breakfast checkout Osaka hotel and transfer to Osaka Rly stn to board on Bullet Train for Hiroshima
HIROSHIMA TOUR:
HIROSHIMA PEACE MEMORIAL PARK: Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park is one of the most prominent features of the city. Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims .The Hall was founded by the Japanese national government to mourn the atomic bomb victims in 2002 and designed by Kenzo Tange.
HIROSHIMA PEACE MEMORIAL MUSEUM: The Museum is the main facility of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, it surveys the history of Hiroshima and the advent of the nuclear bomb.
ATOMIC BOMB DOME: The A-Bomb Dome, also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, is what remains of the former Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall.
HIROSHIMA CASTLE (IF TIME PERMIT): Hiroshima Castle, also called the Carp Castle, is a good example of a castle built on a plain in the center of a city as opposed to hilltop and mountaintop castles.
MIYAJIMA TOUR:
THE GREAT TORII: The great Torii is the boundary between the spirit and the human worlds. The first Otorii of Itsukushima Shrine was constructed in 1168 and was built about 200 meters offshore.
DAISHO-IN TEMPLE: Daisho-in features a variety of buildings, statues and other religious objects for visitors to admire.

DAY 11: 27 MAR – SHINKANSEN TO TOKYO
Morning after breakfast check out Hiroshima hotel and proceed to board on Bullet Train for Tokyo.
Upon arrival at Tokyo Railway Station “Land of the Sun rising” transfer to hotel for check in and after
some rest go for Tokyo Tour.
TOKYO TOUR:
TOKYO SKYTREE A new television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. Enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view from 350 meters above ground on Tallest building in Japan.
SUMIDA RIVER CRUISE: Cruise around modern day Tokyo and experience the atmosphere of Edo. Sumida River Cruise may be unavailable without prior notice due to river conditions. Changes in the itinerary will be provided by the guide. (B & D)
DAY 12: 28 MAR – TOKYO CITY TOUR
Today full day Tokyo City tour :
TOKYO TOUR:
MEIJI JINGU SHRINE: Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city.
TSUKIJI OUTER FISH MARKET: A large wholesale market for fish, fruits and vegetables in central Tokyo, it consists of an inner market where most of the wholesale business and the famous tuna auctions are taking place, and an outer market whose retail shops and restaurants cater to the public.
SHINJUKU (SHOPPING STREET): One of Tokyo's largest shopping and entertainment districts, include several major department stores, flagship stores, and Japan's largest electronics retailers, etc.
SENSO-JI TEMPLE: Sensoji is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. It is one of Tokyo's most colorful and popular temples.
UENO PARK: Ueno Park grounds were originally part of Kaneiji Temple, which used to be one of the city's largest and wealthiest temples and a family temple of the ruling Tokugawa clan during the Edo Period
SHIBUYA CROSSING INTERSECTION: Shibuya Crossing, is like a giant beating heart, sending people in all directions with every pulsing light change. Perhaps nowhere else says ‘Welcome to Tokyo’ better than this. Hundreds of people – and at peak times said to be over 1000 people – cross at a time, coming from all directions at once. DAY 13: 29MAR – MT. FUJI EXCUSION
After breakfast you will be transferred from Tokyo to Mt.Fuji (about 2hrs)
MT. FUJI TOUR:
MT. FUJI 5TH STATION: Head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.
HAKONE TOUR:
LAKE ASHI CRUISE (ONE WAY): Lake Ashi in Hakone has a circumference of 40 km and was formed from a damming of a river. Popular as a spot to view Mt. Fuji, it is a famous tourist spot for Hakone.
MT. KOMAGATAKE ROPEWAY: Provides a scenic view of Hakone and surrounds. The Hakone Komagatake Ropeway runs from the edge of Lake Ashi to the summit of Mt Komagatake. Overnsight Tokyo (B, L, D)
DAY14: 30 MAR –TOKYO HALF DAY TOUR
Today Sumida River Bay cruise, Asakusa, Senso-ji Temple, Odaiba
Tea Ceremony, evening dinner & transfer to hotel
DAY15: 31 MAR – RETURN FROM TOKYO TO KOLKATA
Morning after breakfast keep ready your baggage. 10.30am Check out hotel, transfer to Narita International Airport to board on Kolkata bound flight depart at 14.20
Arrive Kolkata airport at 11.45 in the evening. Tour ends with a sweet memory. (B )
