DAY WISE ITINERARY 

DAY 01 : KOLKATA – BANGALORE – HAMPI

Departure Kolkata by morning Flight. On arrival  Bangaluru Airport you will be transferred to Hampi by AC coach.  Arrive Hampi in the evening, dinner and overnight Hampi.

DAY 02 : HAMPI

After breakfast visit the Hampi -the once beautiful capital city of Vijaynagar Empire was greater than Rome and had palaces; Hampi ruins spread over an area of more than 26 sq. kms. protected by the tempestuous river Tungabhadra in the north and by rocky granite ridges on the other three sides, visit at Some of the interesting ruins remaining Hazara Rama Temples, huge Ganesha & Narasimhaimages, the elephant stables, the queen's bath, and carvings on the Ramachandra Temple & Lotus Mahal.  After  Lunch visit Tungabhadra, overnight stay at Hampi Hotel.

DAY 03 : HAMPI - AIHOLE - PATTADAKAL - BADAMI

After breakfast drive to Badami enroute stopping at Aihole and Pattadakal. After sightseeing continue to drive to Badami on arrival check in hotel, In the late afternoon visit Badami, Overnight in Badami hotel.

 

BadamiThe capital of the early Chalukyas, Badami is picturesquely situated at the mouth of a ravine between two rocky hills. It has four rock-cut cave temples, the largest being the third cave dedicated to Vishnu. Overlooking the temples is a reservoir, its banks dotted with temples dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva

 

Aihole is the cradle of stone temple architecture of the southern Dravidian School. The oldest temple, Lad Khan goes back to the 5th century A.D. Aihole, A tranquil village on the banks of the Malaprabha river, Aihole is acclaimed asthe cradle of Hindu temple architecture. There are hundreds of temples in the villagesand fields nearby.

Pattadakal, referred to as Petrigal, reached its pinnacle of glory under the Chalukya kings from 7th to 9th centuries. The oldest in this group is the Sanghameswara Temple. The Mallikarjuna Temple has pillars depicting life of Krishna. Virupaksha temple has sculptures and panel scenes from the epics, the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The Papanatha Temple has impressive carvings on pillars and ceiling.

 DAY 04 : BADAMI - JOG FALLS

Early morning, start your journey to visit Jog Falls. Afternoon arrive and check in hotel Jog Falls. The Jog Falls is one of the most well-known tourist sites in the state of Karnataka. The segmented waterfall comprises of four distinct falls named Raja, Rani, Roarer and Rocket, each merging together to form the huge waterfalls and presenting a picture of grandeur. The uniqueness of Jog Falls lies in the fact that the water does not flow down in a tiered fashion.

DAY 05 : JOG FALLS-MURUDESHAWARA

After breakfast check out hotel from Jog Falls and proceed to Murudeshwar. Arrive  Murudeshwar in the afternoon, check in hotel at Murudeshwar area.

Murudeshwar Temple, which is situated on the top of a hill Kanduka Giri. The temple has a twenty-storied Rajagopura and at the entrance, there are concrete structures of two full sized elephants. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple has a huge statue of Shiva, which is around 123 ft in height. Moreover, the temple also houses a Shivalinga, which forms the central deity. The statue of Shiva was built by Shivamogga`s Kashinath and his son Sridhar. One of the finest sea beach in India, Murudeshwar Beach. Overnight Murudeshwar.

DAY 06 : MURUDESHWAR

Today is your fee relaxing day. Enjoy the beautiful sea beach, optional various water activities, evening sun set over the Arabian Sea. Overnight Murudeshwar.

DAY 07 : MURUDESHWAR - UDUPI

Morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Udupi.

On arrival Udupi check in hotel and after lunch proceeds to local Sightseeing, visit famous Udupi Sri Krishna Temple,  in the afternoon enjoy Sunset.  Overnight Stay at Udupi

Udupi is an important coastal town in Karnataka India is located 381 kms from the capital Bangalore. The urban focus of Udupi is an open square surrounded by temple sand mutts. Udupi is the birth place of the 12th century saint Madhava.

DAY 08 : UDUPI – BELUR – HALEBEEDU – HASAN

After breakfast proceed to Belur. Belur is the small town located on the banks of river Yagachi. Belur was the early capital of the Hoysala Empire. The main attraction in Belur is the Chennakesava temple complex which contains the Chennakesava Temple as the centre piece, surrounded by the Kappe Chennigraya temple built by Shantaladevi, queen of king Vishnuvardhana. Legend has it that it took 103 years to complete and Vishnuvardhana's grandson Veera Ballala II completed the task. This temple is also now being proposed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Halebeedu- Halebid, the 12th century capital of the Hoysalas. The Hoysaleswara temple was built during this time by Ketamala and attributed to Vishnuvardhana, the Hoysala ruler. Halebid enshrines Hoysaleswara and Shantaleswara, named after the temple builder Vishnuvardhana Hoysala and his wife, Queen Shantala. Return to the Hassan hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 09 : HASSAN - COORG

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Coorg, the most affluent hill station of Karnataka. Coorg is renowned as the 'Scotland of India' and also popular as Kashmir of the South' due to the magnificent beauty and cool ambience of the hill station.  On arrival at Coorg, visit Bylakuppe Tibetan Settlement, the largest Tibetan settlement in India located near Kushalanagar.  Overnight stay at Coorg hotel.

DAY 10 : COORG – SHRAVANABELAGOLA - BANGALORE

Today after breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Bangalore. En-route visit Shravanabelagol Shravanabelgola, in Hassan district Karnataka is famous for the statue of Gommateshvara  Bahubali.  Shravanabelagola gets its name from the pond located between the hills Vindhyagiri and Chandragiri.”Bel” means white, while “kola” means pond, an allusion to the beautiful pond in the middle of the town. The largest pilgrimage destination for Jains, the statue has hordes of devotees inundate Shravanabelagola every year. the town has witnessed followers of Jainism visit the picturesque town for more than 2,000 years. Carved elegantly, the architectural marvel of Gomateshwara or Bahubali is the world’s largest monolithic sculpture. After lunch continue your journey towards Bangalore the capital city of Karnataka. Overnight stay at Bangalore hotel.

DAY 11 : BANGALURU

Today after breakfast full day Bengaluru local sightseeing , the Capital city of Karnataka, is at present Asia's fastest growing cosmopolitan city with huge demand from technological giants worldwide. With rapid development 'The Garden city of India' boasts now of also being 'The Silicon Valley of India'. Spread over an area of 2190 sq.km. Bangalore, the fifth major metropolis of India is home to 6.52 million people.  The city is lined with green landscapes and is free from extremes of climate due to its convenient location in the heart of Peninsular India. Founded in 1537, Bangalore now is a kaleidoscope of striking colors. The city epitomizes India's excursion from an emergent nation to the hub of Information Technology. Recently renamed as Bengaluru, it is also the core of some of the major scientific establishments in India. The city bears mark of a splendid past and this mingles with modern conveniences and pleasures. DAY 12 : BANGALURU - KOLKATA

Today after  breakfast some free leisure time till transfer to Airport depending on flight schedule. Arriva Kolkata (Tour End)

  • 15  5 days before date of departure  = 75% of the tour Cost.
  • Less than 5 days = No refund allowed
