7 NIGHTS 8 DAYS KATHMANDU POKHRA CHITWAN NAGARKOT TOUR

DAY 01 :                        

  Kolkata -   Kathmandu ( Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA)

Upon arrival Kathmandu you will be transferred to Nagarkot - Kathmandu - At an height of 1400 meters / 4600 feet lies the central region of Nepal - Kathmandu is the capital of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal - The city has a rich history, spanning nearly 2000 years - Most of Kathmandu's people follow Hinduism and many others follow Buddhism - Nepali is the most commonly spoken language - English is understood & spoken by educated & professional residents - Receive the guest at TIA airport - Transfer to Nagarkot approximately 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu – Bhaktapur District - At an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is one of the most scenic spots for its sunrise view of the including Mount Everest as well as other Snow - Capped peaks of the Himalaya range of eastern Nepal - Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley – Overnight stay Nagarkot

Day 2 Nagarkot  - Chitwan

Today you will be transferred to Chitwan. We will get there by car, taking around 5 hours. Upon arrival, check in a jungle resort and a welcome drink will be offered to you. Then enjoy a palatable meal around noon and take a good rest to get ready for the upcoming jungle adventure.

Day 3 Chitwan Jungle Safari

Established in 1962, Chitwan National Park is the first national park and the largest safari park of Nepal. It used to be a royal garden and opened to the public aiming to protect the endangered one-horned rhinoceroses originally. In 1984, the park was included in the List of World Natural Heritages by UNESCO. We will arrange several interesting recreational activities for you including elephant riding, canoe drifting and jungle safari, which will offer you an opportunity to spot the rare Bengal tigers, wild elephants, rhinoceros, crocodiles and other wildlife. The local guide or mahout will give you some information during journey and help you to locate the animals in the park. Next we will come to the Elephant Breeding Center to see the baby elephants. After, return to the lodge for a short break. At last, round up your jungle expedition with a visit to the Tharu village where you may enjoy a local dance performance called "Tharu Tribal Dance".

Day 4 Chitwan - Pokhara

Today we will leave Chitwan for Pokhara. The driving takes about 5-6 hours. Check into a local hotel upon arrival in Pokhara. Then take a leisurely walk along the lakeside and take a boat to appreciate the reflection of the snow mountains on the Phewa Lake. We will also visit the Barahi Temple on the island of the lake.

 

?? Day 05 = Pokhara Sightseeing

 Pokhara Offers the best view of Annapurna Range with three out of the ten highest mountains in the world — Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu - They are within approximately 15 – 35 miles of the valley - Next Pokhara sightseeing – Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev temple cave, Goddess Bindyabashani Temple, Seti river gorge & Tal Varahi Temple - Boating at Fewa lake own - Some of the other attractions are International Mountain Museum, Old Bazar, Bat Cave, Gurkha Museum, etc (Add On / Optional) - Evening free for own activities - Overnight stay in Pokhara

 

DAY 06 = Pokhra – Sagangkot - Kathmandu

 Sarangkot Excursion & Transfer to Kathmandu - Early in the morning 4 – 4.30 AM departure from hotel - Drive up Sarangkot hill & few minute walk to observe a stunning view of Sunrise over snow caped mount Fish Tail & mount Annapurna range (About 02 hours) - Breakfast - Hotel check out - Transfer to Kathmandu via Manakamana Temple Darshan by Cable Car (Cable Car tickets own) - After Manakamana Darshan proceed to Kathmandu - It is nearly 250 kilometers and is nearly 05 - 06 hours drive - Hotel check in - Evening free to stroll around the area -Overnight stay at Kathmandu

 DAY 07 = Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today Early Morning Breakfast - After breakfast full day sightseeing of Kathmandu - Pashupati Nath Temple - 05 kilometer east of Kathmandu city centre - Pashupati Nath Temple is one of the most important holiest sites for Hindus all over the world - Boudha Nath Stupa - 05 kilometers east of central Kathmandu - The stupa stands on a three – tiered platform raised over the crossed rectangles in order to bring the Yantra form - Swayambhu Nath Stupa – 04 kilometers west of Kathmandu city on a little hillock & Kathmandu Durbar Square – heart of the Kathmandu city - Local name of this area is Hanuman Dhoka – An ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty - The Royal palace during medieval times used for Royal Activities, Center of Administration, Cultural Activities and Festivals - Back to hotel or drop to market - Overnight stay at Kathmandu

 

DAY 08 = Departure transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport  for Return back to Kolkata

Today early Morning Breakfast - Next Depending upon the flight timings one can visit the nearby Mall or Market for some shopping - Kathmandu is a great place to stock up or trade in reading material - Used bookstores cover everything from backpacker favorites, to classics, to local history and culture - Next have to Check out from Hotel - Next prepare to drive nearly for an hour approximately 15 kilometers to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) - Depending upon the flight timings one can visit Thamel or some of the places of interest on the way on the way to Kathmandu airport,
